The statistics are interesting, but I think members should have the ability to opt out of having statistics published about them, especially regarding Time Reading and # of Visits, which is private information. The report would list them as something like @anon instead of their posting name.

I agree. I don’t recall seeing earlier years in review from @system, I wonder if it’s a new feature.

I have removed the user lists for Time Reading and Most Visits.

Probably, it’s the first time I see that kind of automatic stats. It’s easy to verify:

P.s. Happy New Year everybody!

Better if I don’t see the hours I spent reading :flushed::laughing:.

Happy New Year! Looking forward to all the interesting topics it will bring.

Happy New Year!

Regarding the reading time, I think I sometimes open a browser window in the background and then do other stuff. Or I open a browser window and walk away from my computer for a while. All that probably counts as “reading” time. Otherwise, how would the website know what my eyes are focused on at any moment?

Congratulations to @jacobwilliams, the Top Fortran developer globally .

Curious why fortran-lang isn’t picked up here with 1860 stars across 8 Fortran repos:
