FORTRAN programming for civil engineers by Richard H. McCuen

Hi,

any idea where I could lay hands on a copy, or PDF of above mentioned book.

Roger

I located some additional information at the British Library catalogue.

Title FORTRAN programming for civil engineers
Creator McCuen, Richard H., 1941-

Physical description

There appears to be a copy here. Caveat, I don’t know how legal in terms of copyright it is to access this copy so be careful if that is a concern.

Also your best bet might be to check around with various university libraries and see if they have a copy they are willing to loan you through a local library.

With author, title, ISBN in hand, consultation of worldcat.org might find a copy in print/in electronic form in the shelves/archives of a a participating library, too (interlibrary loan still is happens, too).

Because an other thread includes a contribution by you signed in Dutch, here the record at TU Delft.

Cool - didn’t know they had books on archive.org.

That’s not a pirate site, so should not be a problem - though you have to ‘borrow’ it and read it online.

Curious if they have a limit on how many people can borrow the same book at the same time.

If you dig deep enough, there are some unauthorized uploads of books/material to archive.org still under the embargo of (e.g., European) copyright by the authors / exclusive right of exploitation of (active) publishers on archive.org.

Among books you can rightfully borrow, some of the more frequently sought ones (example CRC Rubber Book of which are multiple editions to pick), go only for 1 h instead of 14 d. (Export to non-daisy formats such as printing can be restrained to them, too.)
