Thank you @jeremie.vandenplas for posting the meeting. Things I’d like to discuss:

  • stdlib: linear algebra implementation progress

I believe (@ezz @everythingfunctional, others?) it could be a good time to introduce GSoC 2024 students to the community?

I would also be interested in the progress regarding the generic programming features - but I might be forcing @everythingfunctional 's hand. (I was involved in a very small way last year, but got sidetracked :innocent: )

I agree that we should encourage GSoC students to attend and introduce themselves and their projects. I’m not opposed to giving a brief update on the generics features next week, but I think it would be more valuable to do so after the June committee meeting finalizes things a bit more.
