Milan:
I read your story about Liam, I am so sorry.
The ISO references on your paper are not available to non-ISO people.

The real language is LISP, the rest are just toys.
I see, you refer to Reid (2018). That used to be accessible. I’ll try to find a replacement that is accessible.
Thank you. I liked the article.
Argh. What’s the point of standards if people aren’t allowed to read them, or their accompanying documents? (I know this is a big issue for INCITS/Programming Languages (PL22) and WG5 SC22…)
I found this link that should be accessible: https://www.fortranplus.co.uk/app/download/29753373/N2161.pdf
Thanks, Gary, I updated the link in the blog to the accessible one that you found.
Dear GAK:
You know you have a bright 10 yr old when they tell you the chemical makeup of GAK and can describe the primary reaction, of course non of the other kids in the class will play with him, but that is ok, just give him the nail gun.
Re standards
ASTM sells a standard written in 1890 by Baker, their version is incorrect, you need his 1914 book to get the correct picture.
