Hi everyone!
I’m Jana, a computer engineer from Lebanon. My native language is Arabic, but I’m also fluent in English. I have about a year of experience as a desktop application developer, working with languages like Xojo, Fortran, C#, C (did multithreading in university), x86 assembly, Python, and have basic knowledge of Rust.
Recently, I got the chance to use Fortran at work, and I was genuinely surprised by how fast it is! That made me even more interested in learning and contributing to Fortran-related projects.
I’m particularly interested in Coarray Fortran Framework of Efficient Interfaces to Network Environments (Caffeine)
Ever since I was a student, I’ve found multithreading and multiprocessing super fun. I’d love to get my hands dirty with coarrays and contribute to improving Caffeine so that we can fully unlock the potential of multiprocessors.
I’m currently exploring the project and wanted to ask if there’s a specific issue or PR you’d recommend I start with to get familiar with the codebase. Any guidance or suggestions would be really appreciated! Looking forward to learning and contributing!
