We should discuss whether we want to organize Fortran-lang under NumFOCUS, BCS (suggested by @johnp), or another umbrella organization. This topic has been discussed a bit in Options for funding Fortran-Lang projects.
Here are a few thoughts to discuss in the monthly call:
For NumFOCUS applications the deadline is the 15th January next year, which gives as some time to apply in case we make this decision. Creating an organization hosted by the BCS could also be a possibility, with the next BCS meeting on the 29th September (BCS Fortran Specialist Group & speakers wanted / Presenting FPM at the BCS Fortran SG meeting) we would have an opportunity to inquire about this and see whether this is feasible for us.

I know that this is on a short notice. So, don’t feel obligated. A short summary could be also presented during the call in October.
