If you search “fortraner” and “fortranaut” here, you will find more than 50 occurrences for the first term and only two for the second: your post and a post of mine. In one of my page, I had written this Issues section:
Issues
Fortranauts: “Okay, Houston, we’ve had a problem here”
Houston: “Well, it’s just a hack, don’t expect full support dudes!”
Fortranauts: “…?”
More seriously, if you have a problem, you can post an Issue here or in the Fortran Discourse. I will try to guide you and help if possible.
But generally I use “fortraner”. Is it because it sounds like Road Runner
? I don’t know, but feel free to use the term you prefer, there is no official one!
