Hi everyone! I’m Mayank, a student at Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. I mostly work with TypeScript, React and Python, and I’m starting to learn Fortran so I can contribute to fortran-lang ahead of GSoC 2027.
I’ve started with fortls since it’s written in Python and is a good way to learn how Fortran code is structured. While testing it I found that renaming a module variable doesn’t update renamed imports (use m, only: local => original), which leaves code that no longer compiles.
