Here is my proposal draft for GSoC 2026
My project focuses on adding support for external third party preprocessors (like fypp) to fpm. The main goal is to solve the dependency resolution blocker so we can finally use stdlib as a native fpm package.
A huge thanks to @rajkumardongre for his GSoC '23 proposal structure which helped me a lot while writing this.
Since I’m still learning some of the deeper fpm internals, I apologize if I’ve missed anything obvious. I’d really appreciate any feedback or suggestions you might have.
I’d especially love a review on the srcfile_t dual-path tracking and the upstream dependency handling, just to make sure my logic is correct.
