Many of us enjoyed the International Fortran Conference 2020 (FortranCon 2020).
Does anyone knows if there will be a FortranCon 2021?

Yes, we are organizing the next edition. The original plan was to have the conference every summer, but due to Covid restriction, we had a shift to 18 months. So the plan is to have the event in September (virtual) and open for CfA in May. Stay tune!
Thanks @alazzaro! Great news!
For people who would have missed the 2020 edition, the videos of the conferences are online:
+1 (or more than 1)
(According to a rather annoying pop-up window the post must have at least 20 characters, hence this nonsensical sentence - what is wrong with being very concise?)
It’s meant to discourage spam. I just removed the limit as an experiment, let’s see how it goes.
The event is now open: http://fortrancon.org/
Not sure if this was already posted here, but the recordings of the FortranCon 2021 are online now:
Today Americans celebrate Thanksgiving, so in addition to this forum, updated standards and numerous compilers, tools, libraries, and ever-faster hardware, this conference and the widespread dissemination of its presentations is one more thing to be grateful for.
The FortranCon websites have gone down. That’s a pity as there were very nice presentations.
Fortunately the YouTube channel and videos are still up: https://youtube.com/@fortrancon6189
Do we know why?
@milancurcic maybe we could take this an opportunity, reach out to the organisers of FortranCon and ask if they would like us to host their website (and possibly future events) under Fortran-lang. Would that make sense for us to do?
@gnikit go ahead and reach out to them. Maybe next time FortranCon can be organized more under the fortran-lang umbrella.
