Though our previous call had amazing turnout (> 23!), there were quite a few people that either couldn’t make it or found out about it later and wish they didn’t miss it. This is why this time we’ll try something new: Recording the call and making it available online for later playback. If you object to the call being recorded and if this would mean you would choose not to attend, please let me know. We’ll try to find a solution that works for everybody.
I would like to showcase https://github.com/fortran-lang/fortran-lang.org/pull/100 and spend a few minutes discussing why we are doing it and why it is important. Also briefly discuss the background of what it took to start the fortran-lang effort, as the automatic graphs nicely show it. @lkedward can maybe talk about the technical background how it is implemented.
LFortran updates
There might be a few more things that will come up until the call.
This went really well I thought. I saw 23 participants most of the time. Thanks @milancurcic for organizing this, it is super helpful to get the community together once a month.
Thanks for recording… I missed the call because of a power outage at the university; looking forward to the recording! I’m not sure what was discussed, but I’m interested in trying fpm for building a recent project!
