Checkers for Fortran Modernization (PWR063 , PWR003 , PWR007 , PWR068 , PWR069 , PWR070 , PWR071 , PWR072 , PWR073 , and more.
Support for C/C++ (large Fortran projects also contain C/C++ components).
Compiler integrations (interoperability with gfortran, ifort, and more).
CI/CD pipeline compatibility (Jenkins, CDash, and more).
IDE integration via SARIF (enabled in VSCode by suing the SARIF plugin).

How much of this is best practices and how much impacts the language itself. Eg CI ?
In general best practices are best practices irrespective of language constructs.
