I have been using my Linux box as a remote interface from my Mac for fortran work, I am kind of out of the loop for using it directly on MacOS. The big issue I ran into was using gdb for debugging so I moved to Linux and have been there for a few years (+ my linux box is a Xeon server with a ton of cores and 128 GB of memory).
Any suggestions would be great.
