Program compiled with Gfortran does not write to output file on macOS Monterey

Thanks a lot for your comment, you saved my life! It had been working without closing previously, but at some point, it only created zero-byte files. I guess I had this problem as others pointed out after updating to the recent version of Mac (Monterey).
