A friend of mine just asked me this questions and I didn’t know what to say. As far as I know, there is no way of installing LFortran directly with fpm, am I right? Will it be possible to install LFortran with fpm in the future?
On the other hand, it is my understanding that fpm can work with the LFortran, as per this post.
Hi @dsejas thanks for the question and welcome! Yes, indeed fpm can work with LFortran. Regarding installing the compiler, currently fpm does not install any compilers.
We were brainstorming in the past to create an fpm package for LFortran. Currently you can install LFortran for example using Conda.
