DeepWiki for Fortran stdlib

DeepWiki can create a wiki out of a GitHub project. I did so for the Fortran Standard Library here. I like the sidebar on the left listing the topics of the library. Is this a useful complement to the stdlib site? In a video Andrej Karpathy recommended using DeepWiki to understand GitHub projects.

Yes, it’s quite good. You can use it to understand and contribute to LFortran also: lfortran/lfortran | DeepWiki.

Interesting. I tried it with a few repositories like urbanjost/general-purpose-fortran | DeepWiki. Sometimes it almost feels like it is trying to create an ad instead of a description; it draws a few incorrect conclusions but not radically wrong. Maybe calling them a “difference of opinion” or “a difference perspective” is more fair, if using such descriptions of an AI-generated document is sensible(?). It actually also created some descriptions that are true but unintended. That was food for thought. Overall, I found it astonishing. Quite decent results in less than one-half hour; it is taking me more time to peruse the six I did than DeepWiki took to generate them.
