Research Software Engineer - Build System Upgrades for SELF
For this role, we are looking for support in adding a CMake build system, FPM build system, and accompanying installation documentation to SELF (GitHub - FluidNumerics/SELF: Spectral Element Library in Fortran).
This opportunity is a contract opportunity for individuals and organizations eligible to work in the United States.
The works resulting from this contract opportunity are considered “works for hire” as defined under applicable national and international copyright law. As part of this work, the service contract will state that you will assign rights title, interests, and copyright of the works to Fluid Numerics LLC.
Bid/Proposal Submission Guidelines
- Summarize the deliverables and version control strategy to incorporate your changes to our main branch
- Provide an estimate of the number of labor-hours required for all deliverables.
- Clearly state your requested hourly rate to complete this task
- Provide an hourly rate for support of provided deliverable post-delivery
- Indicate desired payment terms
