IT professional who started my career as a programmer. I worked on Scientific Software using FORTRAN for about 10 years. Despite learning and using a range of other languages, I always had an affinity with Fortran and for the last 20 years, I have programmed a wide and sometimes surprising range of applications in it. These days the only professional work that I do in FORTRAN is ‘modernization’ of old code.
