In any case, as a project, I think you are taking the right approach in LFortran: prioritizing the modern aspects of the language, and putting the legacy stuff (i.e. FORTRAN77 compliance) to the back burner.

Thank you. Yes, we obviously plan to support F77 and fixed form, but I want to get modern codes compiling first.
