Sorry, but I disagree. Fpm and fprettify have completely different goals and dependencies. Usually, checking the code style is the first job in the CI, because it’s very fast. Compiling and testing come afterwards.

Anyway, feel free to open an issue, and see what the developers think about it

Fpm and fprettify have completely different goals and dependencies.

It was envisioned to allow the tools to work together:

• the manifest has an extra section: Manifest reference — Fortran Package Manager,
• a plugin system was put in place: Extending fpm with plugins — Fortran Package Manager, so that tools could evolve independently of fpm, but still work together with it
