I believe this is conforming. You should include a test in real_view that IS_CONTIGUOUS is true for the target and also make sure that the target does not get deallocated from under you. I have no idea if your FFT will come out as you expect!

Thats a good point. Making c rank 2 and sending in a row like this, real_view(c(1,:), r), gives me the wrong result!
