[This video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EylBknGtkqA) contains an amusing presentation of the early days of computing and floating-point arithmetic by [John Backus](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Backus) in The First International Research Conference on the History of Computing in 1974.
