I am looking for candidates for a PhD and a PostDoc position in the [Computational Materials Science](https://www.mtm.kuleuven.be/english/research/scalint/NMDM/research/computational/comp-mater-sci) group at KU Leuven. 1. The PhD position is about _Multiphysics modeling of cathode materials_ and will be conducted in collaboration with [Umicore](https://www.umicore.com) as a [Baekeland-mandaat](https://www.vlaio.be/nl/subsidies-financiering/baekeland-mandaten). The PostDoc position is about _High-Performance Solvers for Multi-Physics Materials Simulations Project Description_ and will be conducted in collaboration with [Jan Zeman](http://mech.fsv.cvut.cz/~zemanj/) from the Czech Technical University in Prague in the framework of [CELSA](https://celsalliance.eu). Researchers for both positions will work on [DAMASK](https://damask.mpie.de), which is written in modern Fortran. I will update this post as soon as the official job offers are posted.
