# \`lfortran v0.48.0\` available on homebrew

Dear macOS Fortran Enthusiasts,

the latest version of the **lFortran** compiler ( **v0.48.0** ) is now available on Homebrew via our custom tap. You can install it easily with the following commands:

```sh
brew tap fortran-lang/homebrew-fortran
brew install lfortran

```

Hopefully this makes it even more convenient to get started with `lfortran` on macOS. If you encounter any issues or have feedback, we would love to hear you here in the discussion.
