**Call for Papers, Special Issue in _Computation_**

🚀 **HPC-Driven CFD: From Algorithms to GPU Supercomputers**

Modern CFD is undergoing a profound transformation. GPU-accelerated and heterogeneous supercomputers are reshaping how numerical methods, solvers, and software are designed, enabling simulations that were previously beyond reach.

As Guest Editor, I am pleased to invite high-quality contributions for this Special Issue in _Computation_ (Impact Factor 2.6, CiteScore 5.2).

💡 **A special note for the Fortran HPC community:**

Fortran remains a dominant computational backbone in production-grade CFD and Exascale supercomputing. Whether your codes leverage Modern Fortran standard parallelism (`do concurrent`), OpenMP/OpenACC offloading, CUDA Fortran, or performance-portability frameworks, this Special Issue provides an ideal venue to showcase your advancements on modern GPU architectures.

**Topics of interest include (across all HPC frameworks and languages):**

• High-order numerical methods and scalable solvers

• GPU computing and heterogeneous HPC architectures

• Performance-portable programming (Kokkos, RAJA, SYCL, OpenACC, OpenMP, Standard Parallelism)

• Adaptive meshes and large-scale parallel algorithms

• Multiphysics and high-fidelity CFD

• Machine learning for accelerated CFD

• Reproducible and sustainable scientific software

We welcome original research articles as well as comprehensive review papers.

📅 **Submission deadline:** 30 November 2027

⚡ _APC waivers are available for invited contributions._

Feel free to contact me directly or Section Managing Editor Selena Shi (`Selena.shi@mdpi.com`) if you have questions or wish to discuss a submission.
