Improving the GFortran page on the Fortran Wiki

For linux I used this channel: Gfortran :: Anaconda.org

Just re-checked and indeed saw the following during installation:

The following NEW packages will be INSTALLED:

  gfortran           conda-forge/linux-64::gfortran-12.2.0-h8acd90e_11
  gfortran_impl_lin~ conda-forge/linux-64::gfortran_impl_linux-64-12.2.0-h55be85b_19
  libgfortran5       conda-forge/linux-64::libgfortran5-12.2.0-h337968e_19

Honestly I did not pay attention before to the ‘impl’ package… have to dig deeper on that one

Both look almost similar, the second one ‘impl’ having more recent activity… maybe the gfortran-split is discontinued ? The contributors for both repos are the same

I’ve updated the Wiki page GFortran in Fortran Wiki to reflect the command line for installing gfortran with conda environment for Windows as it now enables obtaining the version 14.2.
