I am always using the mingw-w64 package: [Package: mingw-w64-x86\_64-gcc-fortran - MSYS2 Packages](https://packages.msys2.org/package/mingw-w64-x86_64-gcc-fortran?repo=mingw64)
I don’t know if it is possible to go back to a previous version. Else I could wait for the next…

Interesting, I have always used the MINGW64-MSYS2 terminal. How do you use UCRT64? And is it a specific terminal or an environment you access in the powershell?

Thanks @zoziha
I have just made a fresh install of MSYS2 and I am now working with the UCRT64 environment. gtk-fortran is now compiling again.

I have a just a problem to solve with the PLplot examples, as the `plplot.mod` module is not found, although `plplot` and `plplot-fortran` are correctly detected by CMake.

Note: as we are in the “Help installing fpm” thread, you can install fpm in MSYS2 very simply:

```bash
$ pacman -S mingw-w64-ucrt-x86_64-fpm
```
