# Fortran-lang page for gfortran refers to old versions

I just noticed that the version numbers for the gfortran compiler on page “[Installing GFortran — Fortran Programming Language](https://fortran-lang.org/learn/os_setup/install_gfortran/)” are lagging. The current version on [equation.com](http://equation.com) at least is 15.1.0. I have not checked the other ones 🙂 .

On such pages, we should avoid putting version numbers, when possible, to limit the maintenance. Time is passing so quickly…
