# Feedback for generics prototype

I have [previously](https://fortran-lang.discourse.group/t/concerns-regarding-limitations-in-the-current-generics-proposal/4678) voiced my concerns regarding this proposal. In my opinion it does not at all provide the functionality and expressiveness of generics as seen in the other languages it claims taking inspiration from. But I assume at least some of the working group members remember this from the last time it was discussed.
